The production is quite original, attractive and enveloping. It totally moves away from a rigid, documentary, critical format. On the other hand, the language, the basting of the comments, the images and the participations of the animated characters, achieve a fluidity and an appeal that keeps the viewer interested, entertained and enjoying the story. It is possible to feel the simplicity, the peace and the sweetness of the artist, his warm, thoughtful and somewhat nostalgic personality.
The way in which the memories and the little adventures of his toys are presented is very attractive and entertaining, they make you feel yourself immersed in the history, enjoying it. This film lends us a window to the modest workshop and tools with which the artist gives free rein to his ingenuity, where more than a job, it is the creation of toys from his imagination, his memories, his joy and taste for life. As the film progresses, you have the opportunity to develop attachment and admiration for that old man and for his life. The music gives way to the flow of feelings, allowing even personal memories to be intertwined, memories invited by history, by the sweetness amalgamated between the smile and the eyes of the old man, and the experiences that are narrated.
